Shinanomachi Farmstay Association (hereinafter referred to as "Company") recognizes that handling personal information of customers, users etc. correctly is the basis of our business activities and is a social responsibility , we pledge to abide by the following policies.

In order to handle personal information properly, the Company has established laws related to the protection of personal information (hereinafter referred to as the "Law") and related various laws concerning the protection of personal information  and guidelines by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the competent minister. We obey our obligations in good faith. Personal information is information on living individuals prescribed in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Law, which means that you can identify a specific individual, and so on below.

We identify the purpose of use as much as possible and handle personal information only within the scope of its purpose of use unless we obtain prior consent of the individual in advance from himself or should be treated as an exception by law. The person himself means a specific individual identified by personal information, and so on.

3. We will acquire personal information by appropriate means. Except when it is to be treated as an exception by law, we declare the purpose of use in advance or notify or announce the person in person promptly after acquisition. However, in case of directly obtaining in writing from the person himself / herself, we will specify in advance.
4. We will endeavor to keep personal data handled correctly and up to date within the scope of the purpose of use. In addition, we will take necessary and appropriate measures for safety management, and will properly supervise employees and contractors.
Personal data means personal information that constitutes the personal information database etc. (Article 2, paragraph 2 of the law) prescribed by Article 2, paragraph 4 of the Act, and so on.

We will not provide personal data to third parties without obtaining the consent of the person in advance, except in cases where it should be treated as an exception under the law.

6. In accordance with laws and regulations, we will disclose and correct personal data held in response to requests from the principal.
Holding personal data means data prescribed in Article 2, paragraph 5 of the Law.

We will promptly and appropriately deal with complaints from the principal concerning personal information to be handled, and strive to improve the internal system for that.

8.

We will endeavor to continuously improve this protection policy by implementing appropriate internal audits on personal information to be handled.
